Edith, who has performed with Nasrin Hobbi in the past, has again been invited to join her ensemble for this event where she will play the duduk and alto & soprano saxophones.

Nasrin Hobbi & Ensemble consists of professional singers and musicians from different cultures. In their projects the ensemble combines elements of oriental music (Persian, Azerbaijani, and sometimes Greek) with western style (Austrian) characteristics. With her music and her own arrangements, Nasrin Hobbi is not only a vocal artist, but above all is a mediator between Orient and Occident;  regardless of how different the cultures may be, what’s vital is the music, and the stories it tells.
